Fall Wedding at Brown County State Park | indianapolis wedding photographer
gabe & hannah
Brown County State Park is an Indiana treasure, but Brown County State Park Weddings are even better! When Gabe & Hannah asked me to capture their wedding at the Brown County State Park Nature Center Ampthitheater, I instantly said "Yes!" As an Indiana Wedding Photographer, fall is a popular time for weddings as the weather becomes more cooperative and the autumn scenery providing a classic backdrop for many couples.
Hannah & Gabe wanted to keep it simple. I photographed two hours of the Wedding before the guests went downtown to nearby Nashville, Indiana for the festivities. While the weather was chilly this day, the love was warm and the laughter was infectious. You will see just how fun this group was when we got to the Wedding Party pictures, at one time even recreating the famous scene between Jack & Rose on the Titanic! I loved working with this couple!

First Look with Dad
We started with a First Look with Hannah's Dad. In all of the years of doing first looks, nothing will bring a Dad to tears more than this moment.

The Ceremony
The ceremony included a passage reading by the best man. The Nature Amphitheater is perfect for allowing guests to have a breathtaking view of the Brown County's rolling hills behind the couple. The wedding took place in mid-November, so much of Brown County's famous foliage had already left the trees, but the scene was still marvelous.

Newlywed Portraits with Gabe & Hannah
We made use of the platform where they got married. Then moved up closer to the entrance of their ceremony site to take advantage of their displays. Hannah's dress and details really shined.

The Wedding Party
What a fun group this was! I found out that they only slept a couple of hours before this ceremony, no wonder they were so uninhibited with their ideas!
